Our Mission
Our mission is to fight human trafficking in our local communities through Christ-centered strategic initiatives with the goal to reach, raise up and restore.
Human Trafficking is a $150 billion dollar industry, second only to drug trafficking.
Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery in which traffickers use force, fraud, or coercion to control victims for the purpose of engaging in commercial sex acts or labor services against his/her will.
It is estimated more than 40 million people world wide are trapped in modern day slavery.
Every year more than 300,000 children in the United States are trafficked.
North Carolina consistently ranks in the top 10 states of reported cases of human trafficking.

Traci Klein serves as Executive Director of True Justice, where she leads survivor care, rapid response, law-enforcement partnerships, and community education throughout Eastern North Carolina. Since 2015, she has helped shape True Justice into a trusted resource for survivors and a key partner to local, state, and federal agencies working to combat human trafficking. A certified IPC instructor, Traci trains patrol officers, detectives, and multidisciplinary teams on how to recognize child exploitation, trafficking indicators, and high-risk situations during routine encounters. Her experience—both as a front-line responder and as a survivor of child exploitation—gives her a unique ability to teach with empathy, authenticity, and practical insight.
Traci also serves on the Onslow County Crime Stoppers Board and the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office Foundation, supporting community safety initiatives and victim-centered collaboration. She holds a BA in Psychology and Christian Counseling from Liberty University and is currently earning her master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling, graduating in December 2026. Her driving passion is to see survivors discover their own value and worth and pursue restored lives filled with hope.
When she’s not working, Traci loves time with family and friends, being on or near the water, and finding quiet moments to recharge and reflect.
