Traci is the Executive Director of True Justice International. Traci joined TJI in 2015 after 13 years in the corporate arena managing and developing programs supporting strategic direction for national clients. She holds a BA in Psychology and a minor in Christian Counseling from Liberty University. She previously served in a volunteer capacity as a peer counselor with the local pregnancy center, leading an abortion recovery class and supporting young women. Today, Traci serves as an Advisory Board Member for Humans for Justice and is actively involved in both national and international missions. As a survivor of trauma herself, Traci brings human trafficking education and inspiring messages of hope to the public and uses her overwhelming love of Christ to minister to and mentor survivors of human trafficking, trauma and those with drug addictions. Her driving passion is to see survivors of trauma and human trafficking receive the healing and restoration they need and to realize their own value and worth.
Director of Willforce
Tricia Brien volunteered a year before accepting the role as the Director of Willforce. With her background as a gymnastics coach and youth leader, Tricia is an inspiring and encouraging mentor to children and young adults alike. She uses her training as a lay counselor and her passion for the next generation to deliver informative and passionate human trafficking awareness seminars and classes to students, educators and parents across Eastern North Carolina. The desire of her heart is for youth and young adults to know Jesus and their true worth. Tricia lives in New Bern with her husband and three beautiful girls. She continues to lead her family by her love for Jesus.
Director of Grace Projects
Kathy is the Director of Grace Projects which includes Anna’s House, a restoration home for young female survivors. She is a licensed Professional Counselor and Chemical Addiction Specialist-A with 26 years of clinical experience. Kathy has extensive trauma training and uses her knowledge and first hand experience working with survivors and trauma victims to lead and conduct informative, interactive trauma training classes throughout eastern North Carolina. She also has a private practice in New Bern, NC and created an International Coaching and Consulting Arm of her PLLC. She has worked with men, women and children in a variety of clinical settings. Her passion is to see people healed and living in an intimate relationship with Jesus.
Director of the Pearl Ministry
Karla is the Director of the Pearl Ministry. She Graduated from UNCW with a Bachelors in Social Work and went on the receive her Masters in Christian Counseling from Liberty University. In addition to her duties as the Director of the Pearl Ministry, she uses her love of Christ and compassionate heart to provide counseling services to those in the Jacksonville office as well as TJI’s Spanish speaking survivors. Karla’s passion to work with Human Trafficking victims began in 2011 and has since brought awareness to her community and beyond. Her desire is to see survivors find freedom in Christ, to be healed, restored and transformed.
