Our Mission

To fight human trafficking in our local community through Christ-centered strategic initiatives with the goal to reach, raise up, and restore.

Human Trafficking is a $150 billion dollar industry, second only to drug trafficking.

Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery in which traffickers use force, fraud, or coercion to control victims for the purpose of engaging in commercial sex acts or labor services against his/her will.

It is estimated more than 40 million people world wide are trapped in modern day slavery.

Every year more than 300,000 children in the United States are trafficked.

North Carolina consistently ranks in the top 10 states of reported cases of human trafficking.

Traci is the Executive Director of True Justice. Traci joined TJI in 2015 after 13 years in the corporate arena managing and developing programs supporting strategic direction for national clients. She holds a BA in Psychology and a minor in Christian Counseling from Liberty University. Traci serves as the Vice Chair for the North Carolina Coalition Against Human Trafficking and also serves on the Board of Directors for Onslow County Crime Stoppers. As a survivor of trauma herself, Traci brings human trafficking education and inspiring messages of hope to the public and uses her overwhelming love of Christ to minister to and mentor survivors of human trafficking, trauma and those with drug addictions. Traci loves spending time with family and friends and being on or near the water. Her driving passion is to see survivors receive the healing and restoration they need and to realize their own value and worth

Susan is the Finance and Grant Manager here at True Justice. Susan has a business degree from the University of Western Connecticut. She has extensive experience managing finances and grants in both the corporate and non-profit arena for over a decade. Prior to that, she raised 3 beautiful children and was a caregiver to both her parents. She is married to her Mr. Wonderful and they will celebrate 33 years in 2022. She is passionate about helping others, has a heart the size of Texas, and loves spending time with family and friends.
